The future of LED display screen wall will be better and better

After the multi-level evolution of society, the development of LED display till now, LED panels has undergone many different transformations. After decades of rapid development, the domestic LED display wall industry has initially formed a relatively comprehensive industry power. After all kinds of hard ways to buy devices, chips and epitaxy chips, domestic LED has realized a variety of styles and fragments. At present, the number of people mainly engaged in this industry is as high as over 100,000. There are thousands of LED display manufacturers and more than 4000 enterprises, including more than 100 upstream enterprises, more than 3000 packaging enterprises and more than 5000 downstream application enterprises. Promoted by the National Semiconductor Lighting Project, the Industrialization Bases of Semiconductor Lighting Engineering in Beijing, Qingdao, Ganzhou, Guangzhou and Dongguan have been formed. The Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, the Fujian River Delta and the northern region have become the gathering places for the development of China’s LED industry. At present, Shenzhen is the largest LED manufacturer, followed by Shenzhen.

Many people may not know that the domestic LED display market has maintained a growth momentum since the early 1990s. From the early 1900s to the 21st century, it has maintained a relatively good wet penetration, with an annual growth rate of more than 40%. From 2000 to 2010, the annual growth rate was about 25%, and 2016 was a year of relatively rapid growth in recent years, with an increase of more than 80%. In 2016, the domestic LED display market reached tens of billions. According to statistics, the output value of LED chips in China reached 5 billion yuan in 2016, an increase of 48% over 2015, and the output value of LED packaging in China reached 87.8 billion yuan in 2016, an increase of 35% over 44.8 billion yuan in 2015. The output of LED display screen increased by 34% from 126 billion in 2015 to 164 billion, of which high brightness LED was 112 billion yuan, accounting for 81% of total LED sales. In 2016, the output value of China’s application products has exceeded 80 billion yuan, which has become the world’s largest producer and exporter of full-color LED display screen and solar LED lighting application products.
